Because of his, he’s requesting €268,092 in potential missed earnings, since the ban prevented him to sign with OG Esports and compete in CS:GO majors. With the ban in place, Jamppi cannot participate in ESL, Dreamhack, BLAST, or Flashpoint events, much less any Valve-sponsored events. Jamppi further claims that he contacted Valve to plead his case, but the company refused to remove the permanent ban. He received the VAC ban shortly afterward. According to Jamppi, he bought a copy of CS:GO for a friend and then later sold the account. He claims that the ban was unfair, and it has stunted any potential pro CS:GO career. Jamppi filed a lawsuit against Valve back in March for a permanent VAC ban that the CS:GO developer imposed upon him in 2015.
